Now watch this driveis an experimental six-part work of poetic prose written and performed by Angharad Williams. The narrative is fragmented and shifts between different modes—prison memoir, surreal romance, apocalyptic landscapes. Haunting and sensual, it follows a lone and desperate protagonist through escape, desire, and estrangement, drifting between incarceration and a dark, suffocating past toward flickers of personal freedom.
The work deals with survival strategies, queer relationships, and environmental collapse. Set in a Bosch-like elsewhere, an imagined addressee lingers throughout.
This is a story never fully told—part confession, part hallucination, and entirely debauched.
Based in London, England, “Concentric Group” is a record label that showcases sound works by artists in partnership with the “Bauhaus Dessau Foundation.” The name is derived from the title of a painting created in 1925 by Oscar Schlemmer, who taught at the Bauhaus. In 2024, as part of the “Gracious Hosts” exhibition, a listening room was set up inside Schlemmer’s Meisterhaus in Dessau. This exhibition was organized as a long-term project in which artists reimagined the building’s interior. New works will continue to be created and installed within this residence.
