In my opinion, this is the current masterpiece of the knitwear brand B.B. WALLACE. It features the knitting technique MERYLL ROGGE showcased upon his debut: the outer side is knitted from extremely durable, thick Shetland wool, while the inner side—which comes into direct contact with the skin and undergarments—is made from an incredibly soft blend of cashmere and merino wool. This creates an exceptionally luxurious double-faced construction that uses completely different yarns and knits on each side. The way it feels when worn isn’t like a typical knit cardigan—it’s a full-fledged piece of outerwear. The shoulder construction is particularly distinctive; when worn, it creates a structured silhouette reminiscent of an oversized jacket. And it looks absolutely fantastic. While the outer side comes in a variety of colors, the inner side is uniformly pale yellow—the subtle color contrast that peeks through when worn is simply lovely.
