This is the Spring/Summer 2001 Artisanal Collection.A men’s dress shirt is treated as a single piece of fabric, folded and sewn together much like origami.The collar is flattened and integrated into the body of the garment, while the buttons take on a purely decorative role. The shirt loses its original function and is reconstructed into a garment resembling a cardigan. This is a rare archival piece that is rarely seen today.

2001年春夏のアーティザナルコレクションです。メンズのドレスシャツを一枚の素材として、それをまるで折り紙のように折り畳んで縫い付ける。襟は押しつぶされて身頃と一体化し、ボタンは装飾的な要素としての意味合いを持つようになり、シャツは本来持ち合わせていた機能を失って、カーディガンのような衣類に再構築されています。現代では中々お目にかかることが難しい貴重なARCHIVE作品になります。
