Belgian designer Julie Kegels launched her Antwerp-based womenswear brand in 2024 after graduating from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. As a young woman from Antwerp designing for women, she approaches fashion from the inside out, grounded in the belief that one woman can hold many identities, sometimes within the same day. Rooted in craft and intuition, her work embraces multiplicity.  

Challenging convention through sculptural silhouettes, artisanal techniques and sustainable materials, she draws from personal memories, domestic spaces and modern life. Kegel creates clothing that moves between instinct and intention, elegance and humour, fantasy and the everyday.  

Rather than imposing identity, her garments leave space for individuality to unfold, attuned to how women move through roles, rooms and the rhythms of real life.

アントワープ出身の女性として、女性のためのデザインを手掛ける彼女は、一人の女性が、時には同じ一日のうちにさえ、複数のアイデンティティを兼ね備えることができるという信念に基づき、内面からファッションにアプローチしており、クラフトと直感に根ざした彼女の作品は、多様性を受け入れています

彫刻的なシルエット、職人技、そしてサステナブルな素材を通じて既成概念に挑みつつ、彼女は個人的な記憶、家庭空間、そして現代生活からインスピレーションを得ています

ジュリーが創り出す服は、本能と意図、優雅さとユーモア、ファンタジーと日常の間を行き来するものです

アイデンティティを押し付けるのではなく、彼女の服は個性が開花するための余地を残し、女性が様々な役割や空間、そして現実生活のリズムの中でどのように動き回るかに寄り添っています
