This piece is part of the “REPLICA” project, in which the Martin Margiela team unearths anonymous vintage garments and recreates them as brand-new items with their original designs intact. It is a recreation of a French muslin crepe dress from the mid-1970s. Featuring a figure-hugging bias cut, a flattering neckline, and gathered detailing, this piece embodies sensual and chic elements.

マルタンマルジェラチームが発掘した名もなきVINTAGE古着をそのままのデザインで新品として作り上げてフックアップするプロジェクト"REPLICA"より、1970年代中期のフランスのモスクレープドレスを再現した作品となっています。身体にフィットするバイアスカットやデコルテへのアプローチ、ギャザーワークなどセンシュアルでシックな要素を含んだ1着です。
