This is a one-piece swimsuit from around the 1930s, a time when synthetic fibers had not yet become widespread and wool knit fabric was still in use. While these are very popular at USA VINTAGE, if you’re not familiar with them, imagine the texture of a thin, high-gauge knit. It’s a truly “unfashionable” piece—unique to antiques—that bears absolutely no resemblance to modern swimsuits.

1930年代前後でまだ化学繊維が普及しておらず、ウールニットを使用していた頃のオールインワンの水着になります。USA VINTAGEでは非常にポピュラーなものですが、慣れていない方は薄手のハイゲージニットのような質感を想像していただければと思います。いわゆる現代の水着のような印象は全くないアンティークならではのアンファッションな1着です。
