This smoking jacket is part of the “REPLICA” project, in which the Martin Margiela team unearths anonymous vintage garments and recreates them as brand-new pieces with their original designs intact. It is crafted from 1960s Milanese silk-linen fabric. Although originally sold as a men’s item, the men’s silhouettes of that era were very slim-fitting; therefore, we recommend wearing it today with a relaxed, oversized fit that women can comfortably drape over their shoulders.
