I get the impression that MERYLL ROGGE’s collections have been incorporating more and more menswear elements with each new season, but the designer originally served as the head designer at DRIES VAN NOTEN and regularly creates couture dresses like this.
They’re usually so expensive that I rarely feel I can justify buying them, but with this piece, I was convinced by the balance between quality and price, so I gave myself the green light to purchase it.
It had a very loose, oversized fit, so I ordered the smallest size, but I think it can be worn as a one-size-fits-all piece.
今回のコレクションの中でも非常に目を引いたスペシャルピースです 恐らく日本国内にもこちら一点、世界規模でも数点あるかないかという規模感だと思います MERYLL ROGGEはコレクションの回を重ねる毎にメンズ要素が強くなってきている印象がありますが、元々デザイナーはDRIES VAN NOTENのヘッドデザイナーを務めた人物であり、こういったクチュールドレスは定期的に制作しています いつも高額すぎて買い付けでもなかなか手が出ないのですが、本作はクオリティと価格感のバランスにも納得ができ、自分自身に買い付けのGOサインを出すことができました とてもゆったりとしたオーバーサイズでしたので最小サイズでオーダーしましたがフリーサイズ感覚で着用いただけるかと思います
