His designs, featuring ultra-lightweight, high-gauge cotton knits and striking silhouettes that are slim-fitting and long, evoke a design aesthetic reminiscent of the current MIU MIU collection. It’s one of the archive brands I personally keep a close eye on.

学生時代からJOHN GALLIANOのコレクションを手伝ったり、PRADAやTOM FORD時代のGUCCIのデザイナーとして活躍してきた確かな経歴を持つ天才デザイナーNEIL BARETTは2000年代のモードシーンを語る上ではなくてはならない存在です。非常に薄手なハイゲージのコットンニットで、細身でロング丈という印象的なシルエットなどは現行のMIU MIUに通ずるようなデザイン文脈を感じます。特に裾のラウンドカットは秀逸です。個人的にも注目しているアーカイブブランドの一つです。
